Book Restoration

The project requirement included the cleaning, restoration and binding of a set of books belonging to the Menon Family.

Two books, 5"x6 1/2", showed signs of slight water damage. The paper was slightly discolored and bent in some parts. The binding had come off the book completely - resulting in pages coming apart. The book was reordered, excessive glue and debris was removed, the book was then strengthened at thee spine and hardbound. The final product keeps the book intact and ensures safety of the pages.
