Photo Restoration
SANTOSH KURUP FAMILY

Manjadi undertook the meticulous conservation of over 800 family photographs spanning five decades, from the 1960s onwards. These diverse images included black-and-white, painted, colored, and digital photographs, ranging from small Polaroids to large A4-sized class portraits. Each photograph was carefully assessed, cleaned, and repaired, addressing issues such as bends, tears, and dirt accumulation.

Repairs were executed using Japanese Tissue and Organic Acid-Free Rice Glue, ensuring a long-lasting, gentle restoration. After preservation, the photographs were scanned and segregated into categories as per the client's instructions. To further safeguard the originals, they were stored in categorized boxes, with protective tissue sheets placed between each photo.

Additionally, some significantly damaged photographs were digitally restored and provided to the client in both PDF and JPG formats. The project ensured that these cherished memories, preserved in both physical and digital formats, remain accessible and protected for generations to come.
