Hariharan House
ADAPTIVE REUSE
The Hariharan House located on the outskirts of Thrissur is designed keeping in mind Kerala aesthetics. With sufficient space, the family that lives in Delhi, requires the space to be put to regular use. Having such a large property, the family would like the property to bring in some revenue.
Having constructed the house with influences from Kerala traditional architecture, the concept proposes developing interiors inspired by local traditions to use as the unique selling proposition.
The house is to be subsequently linked and marketed through the right channels to allow it to be used as a home stay or artist residency.
Its close proximity to the Kuttiyankavu Bhagavathi Temple additionally makes it an ideal space for homestay opportunities for tourists.
